He works exclusively with fresh products and prefers to make everything from scratch. Over the years, his passion for fish has become enormous, which you will always find on his menu.
After years of working in more formal restaurants, it was his wish to do something completely different. Mike now wanted to go to a place that is accessible to everyone. That’s how he ended up at Cruquius Local in 2019. A new neighbourhood of Amsterdam, which was ready for such a restaurant. Together with his team, he has fulfilled that wish. Cruquius Local has become the living room of the island, where everyone can step in at any time of the day and enjoy beautiful dishes and delicious drinks.
